Compass Points is hand forged from anti-tarnish Argentium Silver, with an elegant shaft of pure 14k gold framing a 1.5 carat red Topaz.

This setting started off as a rebellious experiment- what does it really take to frame a stone? And why should I be limited to the same traditional settings main stream jewelers use?

I’m an artist- I can do whatever I want, as long as the stone is secure.

The juxtaposition of bezel walls opposite a spear of gorgeous gold was all the direction I needed to create a brand new setting for an ultra modern handmade ring. Made to order, this ring features a 5mm wide square textured band.
