There is nothing more cheerful than a gorgeous ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Even for people like me, who love the rain, the shimmering glow of glorious light where there were only gray skies is uplifting.
All of which was going through my mind as I forged this delicious pendant today. Very nearly the embodiment of hope, and of course the subject of countless songs, sunshine on a cloudy day is one of my favorite fleeting phenomenons. It reminds me of things like laughing on a swing, picnics, and blowing bubbles.
That nothing is so bad that it can’t be turned around.
