My Customer Care Policies

I am devoted to creating uniquely beautiful high-quality art jewelry that brings clients an exclusive elegance in one extravagantly stunning package. To that end, I’ve worked out the following policies so that I can fulfill the wishes and expectations of my clients as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The giving and receiving of jewelry is an act which marks some of our most cherished occasions. Celebrations of life, love, and accomplishment are some of the most recognized ‘jewelry occasions’ in our lives with wedding rings, birthday presents and the spontaneous gift of jewelry “just because”.

A gift of jewelry is always welcome, but when someone chooses my jewelry, I feel that it is my privilege to further decorate the occasion with spectacular gift wrap and prompt and reliable shipping- all of which is free of charge to anywhere in the world.

If you find any of my policies less than clear, I will be more than happy to go over them with you, or to address any further questions you may have. Please send an E-mail, and I will do my best to answer your questions.

Returns

As much as I think my jewelry will make everyone in the world very happy to own, I understand that sometimes- heaven forbid!- you might need to return it. That’s okay. You won’t hurt my feelings. I want you to be perfectly happy, after all, so I have a 100% full return policy for the first 60 days after purchase.

You don’t like it, you changed your mind, what ever your reason is- let me know, and then just send it back. I’ll even refund you the return shipping charges. Now, I’ll probably ask you your reason- but only so I can do better next time.

Guidelines for this are: Please use first class mail, delivery confirmation, and enough insurance to cover the cost of the item.

I will refund your shipping via your original payment method within 48 hours of receipt of the package.

Studio Hours

Should you wish to contact the studio for any reason, please do so using the following guidelines:

I am located in the United States in the Central Standard Time Zone. My business hours are 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. During this time, I will attempt to answer the phone, return e-mail, return messages, create new pieces, and fill orders. My intention is to return messages within 48 hours of receiving them. Occasionally, the rest of my life will preclude this. Please have patience.

I do occasionally go on vacation- especially in the summer. If you receive an autoresponder stating that I am on vacation, I will process your order the instant I return.

Order Processing

I will start processing your order when I have a confirmed receipt from your credit card company or PayPal confirming your purchase. If I have not received this confirmation within 3 business days of purchase, I will contact you to arrange an alternate payment method. If I am not able to reach you, I will regretfully cancel the order and return the item to general availability.

I accept PayPal, Google, and most major credit cards including Discover and American Express both through my website and over the phone. Please note, there is a 2.5% additional charge for telephone orders. I will accept checks from previous clients only. I’m sorry, no CODs or money orders for any reason.

Shipping

I offer complimentary shipping on all of my packages. For items or orders less than $50, I will ship via First Class mail with Delivery Confirmation from the USPS. All other orders will ship via USPS Priority Mail.

I ship with these methods so that you and I both know exactly where your package is at any one time. If you would prefer a shipping method other than USPS Priority, please let me know, and I will be happy to ship your purchase any way that you would like.

International Shipping

I am now offering complimentary International Shipping to most countries.

Please note that it may take up to 5 additional business days to fulfill my customs obligations before your item is mailed.

I use complimentary first class mail for all orders, however some countries do not allow international packages with this method. In that case, I must use International Priority or Express, and must unfortunately add the cost of shipping to your order. Current countries that to my knowledge require these methods are: Australia, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, and England.

For these countries, I must charge an additional $15 in shipping fees to cover the additional financial obligations that these countries require.

Gift Wrapping

I also offer free seasonal gift wrapping on all purchases. My themes are: flowers for the spring, bright colors for the summer, jewel tones for the fall, and black and silver for the winter. Please contact me before purchasing an item if you would like to choose alternate gift wrap colors.

Custom Work

One of my primary goals is to ensure my client’s satisfaction. If there is an item you would like custom designed to your specifications, or would like me to alter one of your existing pieces, please don’t hesitate to ask.

In addition, I am more than willing to lengthen, shorten or exchange any of the existing chains, or make other changes upon request. I am always excited to work with a client on a custom piece. Collaborating together, we can create something that will be a cherished heirloom for generations to come.

Sometimes a piece is wonderful, exactly what you want… except… well, it doesn’t fit quite right. What do you do? Well you tell me immediately, of course. I will re-forge, re-shape, re-whatever’s-needed until you are completely happy. All you have to do is let me know!

I create unique art jewelry as well as limited edition jewelry and occasional sculpture pieces. Every piece I offer for sale on my website is unique. There is only one, not hundreds, or thousands.

However, sometimes you may find that the piece you love is no longer available. I am always willing to attempt make a similar item, provided you, the client, understand it will not be the *exact same* item.

Everything Else

I will process orders at the end of the business day, which will then ship within 2 business days of receipt of full payment. I will contact the buyer within 24 hours with shipping and tracking details from the receipt of payment.

Please note that orders received and paid for on Saturday won’t ship out until Monday, or the next business day in the event of a holiday.

Every jewelry item I list includes a lovely gift box, a Care of Your Art Jewelry pamphlet, a trifold brochure about my work, and my business card.
