I recently came across a beautiful quote by George Henry Lewes, an English philosopher from the 19th century. In it, he claimed “Philosophy and Art both render the invisible visible by imagination.”

And as regards Art, I must agree. What is the purpose of Art, but to stir the imagination and help the viewer to experience that which they have never noticed?

Art is instrumental at building bridges of common understanding, to raise discussion on elements of life that would be taken for granted… to make the indefinable definable.

Philosophy and Art both render the invisible visible by imagination.
